BUSINESS MANAGEMENT PROGRAMS

Applied Accounting
A.A.S.
The two-year program in applied accounting is designed to prepare students interested in pursuing careers as bookkeepers, junior accountants in business, industry, and government; accounts receivable or accounts payable clerks; and other similar accounting positions.

Banking & Finance
1-semester certificate & A.A.S.
This program is designed to train and produce capable management trainees in the banking and finance industry. The curriculum is designed to give the graduate a broad knowledge of banking training, principles of bank operations, money and banking, installment credit, home mortgage lending, marketing for bankers, credit administration and bank management.

Import-Export Management
1-year certificate & A.A.S.
The Import-Export Management Program is designed to train capable entry-level personnel in import-export operations. It is designed to give the students a basic knowledge of foreign trade definitions, payment terms and financing, commercial terms in foreign languages, understanding drafts and letters of credit, government foreign trade controls, export shipping documents, export invoices and packing lists, export traffic procedures, insurance, calculating prices, and customs procedures, and documentation activities related to the total operation in import/export management.

Logistics Technician
1-semester certificate
The Logistics technician Certificate is designed to train capable entry-level personnel in logistics. It is designed to give the students a basic knowledge of logistics, international business and trade, domestic and international transportation, and introduces the students to the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) General Industry Standards.

Management
1-year certificate & A.A.S.
The Management program is designed to assist students seeking responsible positions to develop managerial skills. Included in these courses is the internship (on-the-job) training program.

Office Systems Technology
A.A.S.
The student will be awarded an Associate in Applied Science Degree or a certificate in Office Technology upon completion of course requirements. The Associate in Applied Science Degree Program is designed to assist students seeking employment in the clerical/secretarial areas. Included in the curriculum are technical courses to prepare the student with necessary skills for occupational competence and employment.

Office Assistant Level I - Office Professional - Level I
1-semester certificate, 2-semester certificate
This program is designed to train and produce students in the office assistants, and office professionals. The curriculum is designed to give the graduate a broad knowledge of all the aspects needed in order to seek employment in the clerical/secretarial areas.

Real Estate Management
A.A.S.
This program is designed to train and produce capable management trainees in real estate operations and to develop the fundamental skills, knowledge, attitudes, and experiences which enable the student to function in real estate decision-making positions. The curriculum is designed to give the graduate a basic knowledge of fundamentals of real estate, law, finance, appraisal, practice, brokerage, property management, tax investments, economics, application, listing, land development, and other activities related to the total operation in real estate.

Small Business Management
1-semester certificate
The Small Business Management Certificate is designed to train small business owners or capable entry-level personnel in the management of a small business. It is designed to give the students a basic knowledge of small business management, small business financing, customer relations, the legal and social environment of a business and marketing as it applies to a small business.
